Q. What are the requirements for getting cash for aluminum, brass, and copper?

In Texas, you must have a "Cash Card," except for selling aluminum cans. You can apply for the card online, or at any of our metal recycling locations. The card will be mailed to your current address. You can use your “Cash Card” at any Metal Recycling Entity in Texas. It's free!

Q. What documentation do I need to sell a vehicle?

You must have a title sign by the vehicle owner on the front and back. If you lose your title, you must get it replaced before selling your car. Complete an application for a Certified Copy of Title (Form VTR-34). You can mail ($2) or bring the application in person to your local DMV office ($5.45). Q. How many aluminum cans make a pound?

On average, there are about 32 empty soda cans in a pound, assuming they are 12 oz in size. However, this number can vary slightly based on the specific dimensions and weight of the cans.

Q. What scrap metal is worth the most money?

Alloy is the most expensive scrap right now, and Copper, one of the most common scrap metals to recycle, is second. Please contact us to get our latest prices.

Q. Is it worth stripping copper wire?

Sure! Bare copper wire is worth more money, so stripping it will get you paid better.

Q. What is #1 Copper?

#1 copper is a type of high-quality scrap copper that is clean, unalloyed, and free of paint, corrosion, and other impurities, typically including copper pipes and wires.

Q. What does NT mean in scrap metal?

Net Ton (NT) or Short Ton is the USA measurement for 2,000 pounds. However, the price for ferrous scrap metal is usually priced per hundredweight (cwt). A hundredweight corresponds to 100 pounds. For example, 10 cwt is 10 cents per pound or $10 for 100 pounds.
